OVERVIEW

Currently serving as a Specially Appointed Lecturer at the Faculty of Media Creation
at Kyoto Seika University, Zhdanova Alina was born in Moscow, Russia, and raised in
Hokkaido, Japan. Now a video artist and curator based in Kyoto, Japan. Ph.D. of Fine
Art. She explores the intricate interplay between personal memories, individual
personalities, and their surrounding social contexts. Her research spans various
countries and cities, delving into the rich tapestry of human experience. Through her
work, she engages viewers by evoking and confronting their own memories, drawing
inspiration from everyday conversations and memories.
