OVERVIEW

Born in 1985 in Kyoto.
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Design, and moved to New York in 2021. He is currently working as a painting staff member at Matsuyama Studio. Underlying Shingu’s paintings is his interest in “the field in which the meaning of things occurs. He continues to create works filled with new proposals and ideas, including historical motifs, centered on the problems of today’s information-oriented society
