Five works by Matsuyama Studio artists were acquired by the Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art

Five works by Matsuyama Studio artists, Tsukasa Kanawa, Mariko Fujimoto, Taishi Shingu, Takura Suzuki, and Tatsuya Matsushita, were acquired by the Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art (Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan).They were donated by Mr. Hiroyuki Maki (President & CEO, Buffalo Inc.) to the museum. As a related program to the “MATSUYAMA TOMOKAZU: Fictional Landscape” currently being held at the museum, the works of these five artists will be exhibited, including five works from the collection, under the title of “Five Artists of MATSUYAMA STUDIO”. Collected Works:Tsukasa Kanawa, “Leave My Head Alone Brain”Mariko Fujimoto, “YAMAKAMI MINAKAMI”Taishi Shingu, “SUSANOO”Takura Suzuki, “Man on the Moon”Tatsuya Matsushita, “Lifism Society” ■Exhibition Details“Five Artists of MATSUYAMA STUDIO”Dates: March 6 (Wed)- March 17 (Sun), 2024
